Alabama linebacker Will Anderson jr. was questionable to play for most of this past week when gearing up to play a top-15-ranked Florida Gators team on the road in Gainesville.
While he likely wasn’t fully healed from his knee injury suffered from prior week’s Mercer game, Anderson played in the Florida game and shined.
He recorded 3.5 tackles for loss and seven total tackles against the Gators.
This is Anderson’s first time earning the recognition, but it likely won’t be his last.
