During his freshman year, Ross did not see as much action with the Crimson Tide, in part due to missing time early in the season. For the year, Ross only appeared in one game for Alabama, which came against Mercer late in the year.
Prior to Alabama, Ross was a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2024 recruiting class, rated as a four-star edge rusher out of Liberty North High School in Missouri. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Ross ranked as the nation’s No. 174 overall player in the 2024 class, as well as the No. 15 edge rusher.
