Brian Robinson Jr., Running Back
There were a lot of expectations for Brian Robinson Jr. coming into this season. Many, including myself, thought the former No. 8 running back in the 2017 recruiting class would push for an even workload with Harris.
That ended up not being the case, as Harris out-touched Robinson 212 to 104. Robinson wasn’t bad, by any means, as he posted 549 total yards and five scores. But he also wasn’t the impact player many had hoped.
The good news is that we’re predicting a Harris departure, which would open the door for Robinson to land in a lead role. With former five-star phenom Trey Sanders expected to return from an ACL injury, it’ll be interesting to see how the carry distribution plays out.
What he should do? Stay.
