LaBryan Ray, Defensive Line
If it wasn’t for a foot injury, we might have been talking about LaBryan Ray as a potential Day 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. That wasn’t a certainty by any means, but the former five-star prospect is an ultra-talented interior defensive lineman.
Unfortunately, that injury ended up costing the Madison (Ala.) native more than the anticipated six games when the injury first occurred against South Carolina in Week 3.
At this point, Ray should consider a return to Alabama in order to prepare for a second attempt at sky-rocketing up draft boards. If he does elect to stick around, the Crimson Tide should field a formidable interior pass rush with Ray and rising star Christian Barmore.
What he should do? Stay.
