The Alabama Crimson Tide did not take the field in Week 9. After six consecutive weeks of having a game, Nick Saban and his team had an open week to regroup and get healthy for a late push for another SEC title and potential College Football Playoff spot.
Oddly enough, Alabama didn’t make a move in the polls until they were off this past weekend. After being at No. 2 throughout the entire season, the Crimson Tide finally jumped to No. 1 in the latest Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports for Week 10.
Clemson had been ranked No. 1, but the Tigers dropped to No. 4 after a 47-40 loss to Notre Dame, who climbed all the way to No. 2 in the latest poll.
Here are the complete poll results from Week 10 of college football.
