Alabama falls outside top 5 in latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll

Alabama takes a bit of a tumble in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll after losing to Tennessee on the road.

The latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll has been revealed and Alabama no longer resides inside the top five. After entering Week 7 as the top-ranked team in the nation, the Crimson Tide are No. 6.

Suffering a close loss to Tennessee was enough to have the Volunteers jump Alabama and comfortably slide into the top four teams.

There’s plenty of time left in the 2022 regular season for big changes to be made. It’s an uphill battle for the Crimson Tide now. It will be interesting to see how Saban and the team respond to this adversity.
