Alabama draft prospect reportedly impressed Michael Jordan

An Alabama draft prospect has impressed Michael Jordan during a workout with the Charlotte Hornets.

Michael Jordan is selling his majority share of the Charlotte Hornets after 13 years of being the owner. But as the 2023 NBA draft takes place on Thursday night, Jordan apparently has some input into what the team could do at No. 2 overall.

Per reports, the Hornets are down to two players at No. 2 overall — Alabama’s Brandon Miller and Scoot Henderson of the G-League. And in addition to that, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Miller made an impression on Jordan by trash-talking him back during the private workout he had with the Hornets ahead of the draft.

Miller went on to say that Jordan would talk trash to him saying his game is only being a shooter.

Time will tell what the Hornets do as a new report from Shams Charania says that Henderson is the favorite to go No. 2 on Thursday night. Either way, the Hornets need to make the best decision for the franchise as this is a very important draft for the state of the team.
