The Alabama football program saw one of its defensive backs enter the transfer portal on Tuesday evening. Junior Jahquez Robinson announced via Twitter that he has entered the transfer portal. This comes just days prior to Alabama’s A-Day spring game on Saturday.
Robinson struggled to see the field in three seasons with the Tide. He tallied one tackle in his time in Tuscaloosa.
He was expected to compete for the starting role at the star position, which is where expected first-rounder Brian Branch played last season.
Several programs to keep an eye on in his recruitment are Florida State and South Carolina. Both of those programs had Robinson on campus for multiple visits during his high school recruitment. It would not be a surprise as both programs recruit the transfer portal at a high level.
Officially in the transfer portal!
