One of the most exciting players of Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is 5 star quarterback, Bryce Young who played at Mater Dei High School in California. Young not threw for 4,528 yards and 58 touchdowns in his senior season, but he has won three different quarterback awards this week.
Young won the L.A. Times’ player of the year in high school football for the 2019 season, National Quarterback Club’s 2019 high school quarterback of the year, and was named USA Today’s ALL-USA High School Football Offensive Player of the Year.

Simply put, Bryce Young is hands down one of the most talented players in the 2020 recruiting class. So much so, that Mater Dei head coach Bruce Rollinson called Bryce Young the best quarterback in Mater Dei history.
