On Monday, Alabama redshirt junior cornerback Nigel Knott made an announcement via twitter that he plans enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Hours later, Knott posted a picture on twitter showing that he had submitted a notification of transfer.

Knott did not play a single game this season due to medical issues, according to head coach Nick Saban.
Knott is the now third Tide player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season. RB Jerome Ford and OL Scott Lashley also entered the trasfer portal and both have transferred to new programs.
