Alabama, who really needed this win for their resume for the NCAA tournament, struggled throughout the game. The Crimson Tide attempted a total of 59 shots and made 24 of them for a field goal percentage of 40.7 percent. Alabama also made 4/9 free throws for 44.4 percent percentage.

The highest scorer was Jaden Shackelford who finished the game with 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. As for other scorers on the night, Kira Lewis Jr. had 16 points, while Petty had 11, Smith had 6 and Reese had 5.

Texas A&M went 21/48 for 43.8 percent and also made 21/27 free throws for 77.8 percent.

Alabama drops to 14-12 (6-7 in the SEC) while LSU moves to 13-2 (7-6 in the SEC).
