Alabama Baseball takes down Jacksonville State 17-3 in midweek contest

No, 20 Alabama made easy work of Jacksonville State on Tuesday afternoon. The Tide defeated the Gamecocks 17-3 to improve to 9-0 on the season.

The Alabama baseball team made it look easy on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated Jacksonville State 17-3.

Brad Bohannon’s squad has already scored 96 runs in just nine games this season. That means that the Tide are averaging over 10 runs per game.

Alabama showed off the bats in its midweek game against the Gamecocks. The Tide accumulated 16 hits at the plate en route to a blowout.

Alabama was led offensively by Bryce Eblin, Will Hodo, Drew Williamson, and Camden Hayslip. The four combined to have seven hits and 12 runs batted in.

Sophomore pitcher Luke Holman picked up his first win of the season. Holman pitched four innings while allowing just one earned run.

Alabama improves to 9-0 while Jacksonville State falls to 3-5 on the new season. The Tide will return to the Joe for a three-game series against UIC beginning on Friday. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 CST and will air on SEC Network+.
