Wednesday was a massive day for [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the Alabama basketball program as they landed an elite recruit and announced further details about their showdown with Purdue.
Both the Crimson Tide and Boilermakers were No. 1 seeds in this past year’s March Madness tournament and they both won their respective regular season conference titles as well as their respective conference tournaments.
Since arriving in Tuscaloosa, Oats has made it a top priority to play the best competition possible in the non-conference portion of the schedule, and this mega match-up will certainly be one of the biggest games of the entire season. In 2022-2023 the Tide took on Michigan State, North Carolina, UCONN, Houston and Gonzaga
Purdue head coach Matt Painter and Nate Oats are both widely regarded as some of the best coaches in the college game. It will be an absolute blast to watch the two sides duke it out as part of the Hall of Fame series. The two sides will meet on Dec. 9, 2023, in Toronto at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Later on in the day, the Tide landed five-star Jarin Stevenson
