A.J. Brown said he gave the Eagles every detail of the Titans’ call signals because they didn’t change them

Bold strategy, Titans.

A major factor behind the Philadelphia Eagles’ leap this season to a Super Bowl contender was the trade that brought wide receiver A.J Brown to the Jalen Hurts-led offense. It took the Eagles to a new level while the Titans took a considerable step back.

That trade was especially magnified in Week 13 when Brown put together a two-touchdown game against his former team. He simply made it look easy, and that’s because it was. According to Brown, the Titans didn’t change up any of their call signals or cadences for the matchup against the Eagles.

He made sure to share all of those details with the Eagles ahead of that 35-10 win. (Warning: Some NSFW language)

Speaking with Daren Bates and Jalen Carter on the Raw Room Podcastwhere he also spoke about Hurts’ contract — Brown joked about how easy the Titans made it for him. You would expect the Titans to change some aspects of their call signals — especially when facing a former player — but Brown was shocked to see that everything remained the same.

It was like taking a test and knowing the answers ahead of time. On top of that, the Titans fired general manager Jon Robinson a couple days after the game. It was an embarrassment in every sense.

Oh, and for those wondering about Brown’s Kansas City Royals hat in the video given the Super Bowl loss to Kansas City, he addressed that too.

He just liked the colors.
