Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson could have been a fairly early pick in the 2021 NFL draft, but his decision to return to Ann Arbor has proven to be a wise one.
Hutchinson continued his dominant 2021 campaign with another stellar performance Saturday against Penn State, racking up three sacks among his seven tackles.
A solid, well-rounded edge defender a year ago, Hutchinson has turned into a one-man wrecking crew, taking over games and wreaking havoc on opposing offenses.
Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux is still the best overall prospect in the 2022 NFL draft class, but at this point, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hutchinson come off the board as high as the No. 2 overall pick.
