Some say that Michigan football edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson single-handedly tanked Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud’s Heisman Trophy campaign. The Buckeyes signal caller was the leader in the clubhouse before The Game, and while he threw for nearly 400 yards, Hutchinson never let the OSU QB get comfortable, en route to getting three sacks and punching his own ticket to New York City as a Heisman Trophy finalist, himself.

Well, if Stroud had forgotten about what had happened for a single second as he stood on the NYC stage, he got a quick reminder.

Soon after the four finalists were brought on stage, former Heisman Trophy winners Desmond Howard, Tim Tebow, and Robert Griffin III joined them to ask them some introductory questions. With Howard, the former Wolverine, already standing next to Hutchinson, he was given the go-ahead to start the questioning of his fellow maize and blue compatriot.

From there, things got awfully awkward for Stroud.

Howard asked Hutchinson if he had accomplished his goals when he decided to come back for his senior year, to which Hutchinson answered in the affirmative, stating why. Howard also got in a little jab in at the Buckeyes’ expense, as well.
