After scoring 56 points vs. Bucks, Jimmy Butler says Joel Embiid is MVP

Jimmy Butler says Joel Embiid is the MVP after he led the Miami Heat over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Former Philadelphia 76ers star Jimmy Butler delivered yet another terrific playoff performance on Monday night when he scored a Miami Heat franchise playoff record 56 points in Game 4 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The 8th-seeded Heat have a 3-1 lead on the top-seeded Bucks in the first-round series.

Butler scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to rally the Heat from a double-digit deficit to shock the Bucks. He shot an efficient 19-for-28 from the floor and he knocked down three 3s on eight attempts.

Afterward, he talked with TNT on the sideline. When he discussed the MVP chants he received from the fans, he brushed that off and gave the MVP love to Joel Embiid:

I don’t know about MVP. I think that’s Joel if I’m being brutally honest.

It’s been known that Butler and Embiid have been close dating to their time in Philadelphia. Embiid gave his props to Butler for his huge game and the Heat star returned the favor in his postgame interview.
