AFC playoff picture: How Colts win over Titans impacts standings

A look at the AFC playoff picture in Week 11.

As the final two months of the 2020 season get underway, the Indianapolis Colts find themselves right in the thick of the AFC playoff race battling for one of the final spots in the conference.

The Big Picture

The Colts are coming off of a big win in prime time against the Tennessee Titans. This bumped them all the way up to the No. 4 seed as they now lead the division thanks to the tiebreaker they hold over their division rivals.

The Colts still have some tough matchups ahead with the Titans, Raiders and Steelers—all of which are in the race for the AFC playoffs. They also have a big matchup coming up against the Packers in Week 11.

This Week’s Talking Point

While the Colts hold the top spot in the AFC South entering Week 11, they will have a tough task ahead of them if they want to hold it. Though they are opening the week as favorites over the Packers, this matchup will be one of the toughest they will face all season.

The Packers offense is one of the best in the NFL while Aaron Rodgers is enjoying a bounce-back season. He’s completed 67.8% of his passes for 2,578 yards, 26 touchdowns and three interceptions.

We’ll Also Discuss

The Colts may possibly get defensive end Kemoko Turay back this week from the PUP list. They have needed some help on the edge, and Turay can be the spark they need.

Also, against a Packers defense that is susceptible to the run game, is this finally the week we see Jonathan Taylor turn things around? Or will it be more of the same?
