New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit a 464-foot home run against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday evening, one so impressive even a Bay Area broadcaster gave Judge his props.
Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow was simply amazed by Judge knocking out a homer to that part of Oracle Park, and he said as much in his spirited broadcast of the stellar hit.
Judge hitting a 464-foot homer isn’t necessarily a huge shock, but it’s got to be something else to actually witness him hit the ball that far in person.
Krukow knows Oracle Park as well as any broadcaster in the MLB, and he knows a special homer run there when he sees one.
Judge is on a heater right now, and listening to Krukow’s commentary for it was really fun. Take a listen and hear for yourself.
"That was a big fella home run, my goodness. The power that this guy has — it's rare…That is deep in the stands in left center. I don't know if we've ever seen one go up there. That's 464 feet."
