Aaron Judge crushed home run No. 60 to kickstart Yankees’ stunning ninth-inning rally

No one’s doing it better than Aaron Judge!

It’s only a matter of time before Aaron Judge breaks the AL single-season home run record, at this point.

On Tuesday, Judge cracked the 60-home run mark — tying Babe Ruth’s tally from 1927 and putting him two behind Roger Maris for the title — on a monster blast to left field. With the New York Yankees trailing 8-4 in the bottom of the ninth to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Judge got the rally started with this solo shot deep into the night.

Even with the Yankees losing big by this point late in the game, New York fans were absolutely electric as Judge went yard to make history. Listen to the sound of the crowd!

Just effortless stuff from Judge on that home run. While Judge’s curtain call may not have been enthusiastic considering the Yankees were still losing when he hit his big blast, it was still cool nonetheless.

And hilariously, the Yankees walked it off a few batters later thanks to Giancarlo Stanton’s grand slam to win 9-8!

What an inning for the Yankees that all started on Judge’s historic 60th home run of the season.
