Wisconsin linebacker Jordan Turner was suspended in late June for violating a UW Department of Athletics Student-Athlete Discipline Policy. On Monday, the school announced that Turner has been reinstated to the team after an internal inquiry by a committee of university staff.
According to the school, Turner has been suspended for violating UW Department of Athletics’ Student-Athlete Discipline Policy. Director of Athletics Chris McIntosh announced the suspension earlier today.
Turner was previously not allowed to compete in practice or in games until the completion of the required factual inquiry under the athletics policy.
Turner still remained on official squad lists during the suspension and can continued to receive support in the sports medicine facility, the academic support center, and the weight training room. He is now back to the team as a full participant in practice and can play in games this fall.
