Wisconsin Badger star linebacker Leo Chenal is the Big Ten Linebacker of the Year, according to the Wisconsin football Twitter account.
He becomes the third Badger to win the honor, joining Joe Schobert and Chris Borland.
Chenal finished the regular season with 106 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 7 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. That all after missing the team’s first two games with COVID-19.

The star linebacker projects to be one of the first 10 linebackers selected in the upcoming NFL Draft, that obviously if he chooses to leave school early. That decision to stay or leave will likely come after Wisconsin’s upcoming bowl game.
