For the second consecutive week, Wisconsin freshman running back Braelon Allen surpassed 100 yards on the ground in a Badger victory. During Wisconsin’s 20-14 win over Army, the Fond Du Lac native led the Badgers with 108 yards on the ground on 16 carries for an average of 6.8 yards per carry.
He also had the longest play of his young Badger career on a 33-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Allen’s performance earned him Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, and set the stage for what should be a sizable share of carries down the stretch of the season.
