We’re seeing a lot of takes flying around Twitter after news broke that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was getting a five-year, $75 million contract that made him the highest-paid tight end ever.

Yes, he’s the centerpiece of the passing offense for the Niners after amassing 85 catches and 1,053 yards in his third season, just a year after grabbed 88 and 1,377.

But can we give his run- and pass-blocking some love here? That’s another big reason that he deserves the title of highest-paid tight end for a team that runs the ball a ton.
