A quick look at the past month of Aggie Baseball as Fall ball comes to an end

The new look Aggie Baseball team is finishing up Fall Ball on Friday in Houston as we take a quick look back at the past month of exhibition baseball

The Aggie Football team is getting some much-needed rest and recovery time as they have their scheduled bye week. However, the actions never stop with college athletics, and Texas A&M fans will still have a place to cheer on their team…Houston Texas.

As Coach Jim Schlossnagle enters his third year at the helm, we’ll see a much different Aggie team populating the diamond this season. With cornerstones Trevor Warner and Jack Moss being drafted, it left some significant holes in talent and leadership. Like the past two seasons, Scholssnagle was highly deliberate in getting quality talents out of the transfer portal to help fill these needs.

There was a point where it felt like the Aggie baseball team was getting a high school commitment or a transfer announcement every other day. The staff was on their A-game with eight transfers, highlighted by the No. 1 overall transfer, Braden Montgomery. They will join the other 12 fresh faces, which consists of a talented group of incoming freshmen ranked at No. 9 by Perfect Game.

The Aggies beat the Houston Christian Huskies 20-2 a few weeks ago and will take on the Houston Cougars on Friday at Schroeder Park at 6 p.m. Below; you can find a few off-season highlights from the Aggie Baseball team’s social media pages.
