A photographic look at Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter’s final college game

Saturday’s Alamo Bowl marked the end of an era

Saturday’s disappointing performance in the Alamo Bowl shouldn’t take away from what was an otherwise special season for the Colorado football team. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders set multiple school records, two-way phenom Travis Hunter became CU’s second Heisman Trophy winner and the Buffs reached their first bowl game since 2020.

Still, it was an emotional night as Sanders and Hunter closed their college football careers at the Alamodome. Sanders played the entire game, throwing for 208 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions Hunter had 106 receiving yards and one touchdown while playing lockdown defense at cornerback.

After another dominant season, the two Colorado stars are each expected to be among the first players selected in the 2025 NFL draft.
