In the third round of the mock, Smoke Monday is projected to the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 83 pick overall. The team needs a lot of help to get back into the NFC East race with Dallas. They finished three games behind them in the division and in both matchups, the Cowboys dropped 41+ points. The last one coming in a 51-26 drubbing at home.
Adding Monday would help them on the back end of their defense. Monday finished his Auburn career with 171 total tackles, 17 TFLs, six sacks, five interceptions with three ending in a touchdown. Monday also broke up eight passes and recovered one fumble. He can be a do-it-all safety for the Eagles next season and beyond.
