Over the years, the Oklahoma Sooners football program has seen its fair share of top running backs. More recently names such as Samaje Perine and Adrian Peterson have been the top names. Further back you will remember players such as Billy Sims, Joe Washington, and Spencer Tillman among many others.
Currently, Oklahoma running back Kennedy Brooks is knocking on the door of the all-time list. He would likely be inside the top 10 or close to it had he played in 2020. Instead, Brooks returns to the team with 2,067 yards rushing over his first two seasons. Former running back Trey Sermon also sits just outside the top 20.
