The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been one of the top stories in college football for the last 36 hours. On Monday evening, news broke that Georgia quarterback commit and five-star prospect Dylan Raiola is considering flipping his commitment to Nebraska.
The class of 2024 recruit had committed to Georgia in May after initially committing to Ohio State. As wild as his college recruitment has been, his high school football career has been as interesting.
The 6-3 230-pound quarterback has played for three high schools in the past three seasons. In 2021, he played for former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna at Burleson High School, Texas.
He would throw for 3,341 yards with 32 touchdowns and five interceptions while posting an 8-4 record. Raiola was also awarded District 5-5A-II Offensive MVP honors.
He would move to Arizona for his junior year and play for Chandler High School. He would throw for 2,435 yards with 22 touchdowns and five interceptions.
As a senior, he would transfer to Buford (GA) High School to an 11-2 record while throwing for 2,819 yards with 34 touchdowns and one interception.
