Nebraska basketball achieved one of the most significant victories in program history after defeating No. 1 Purdue on Tuesday evening. The Huskers pulled the upset in impressive fashion, defeating the Boilermakers 88-72.

Keisei Tominaga led all scorers with 19 points while shooting five-of-nine from the three-point line. Rienk Mast added 18 points, shooting eight-of-17 from the field.

The Cornhuskers now improve to 13-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten Conference. They will prepare to face the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City on Friday at 9:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
