A number of Badger rookies have been showing out, but perhaps none more than offensive lineman Joe Tippmann. The Jets’ starting center has been not only one of the best rookies in the league, but one of the best centers in the league. Wisconsin knows a thing or two about this position, and Tippmann is carrying the legacy.
According to Pro Football Focus, Tippmann has a 98.4 pass blocking efficiency number. That number is the best among all NFL rookies.
Expect the Badger offensive lineman to not only finish the year strong, but be a consistent piece of the New York Jets offense for years to come.
