WATCH: Jayden Daniels’ dime to Terry McLaurin for record-tying touchdown

A historic touchdown for Terry McLaurin.

It was a roller-coaster of a first half for the Washington Commanders in their Week 16 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the Commanders thanks to turnovers.

However, Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu helped slow Philly’s momentum, picking off Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett to give the Commanders excellent field position. A few plays later, quarterback Jayden Daniels found wide receiver Jamison Crowder to get Washington on the board.

Unfortunately for the Commanders, Saquon Barkley answered with a 68-yard touchdown to make it 21-7.

Daniels responded, finding wide receiver Dyami Brown for a 51-yard catch. On the same drive, Daniels, under pressure, dropped a dime to wide receiver Terry McLaurin for a 32-yard touchdown.

Check it out.

It was a special touchdown for McLaurin because he went over 1,000 yards for the season for the fifth time in his six-year career, including the fifth consecutive season. It was also his 12th receiving touchdown of the season, tying the franchise record set by Ricky Sanders in 1988.
