Rashee Rice was poised to be the Kansas City Chiefs’ leading receiver entering his second year with the club.
Unfortunately, his season was cut short in Week 4 when he and quarterback Patrick Mahomes accidentally collided on the field and Rice was placed on injured reserve to undergo surgery.

Rice is likely to make a full recovery but is not expected to be cleared to play in time to return this season. While some fans may still be hoping to see him activated during the playoffs, such a move doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

The Chiefs receiving corps is set to get a major boost this week with the return of Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, who was activated from Kansas City’s injured reserve list this week.
Brown is expected to play alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy, and Justin Watson against the Texans.
