Linebacker Jeremiah Brown has withdrawn his name from the college football transfer portal and is expected to rejoin the Colorado Buffaloes, according to Pete Nakos of On3.
With one season of eligibility remaining, Brown chose to redshirt in 2024 after playing sparingly through Colorado’s first few games. Earlier this month, the senior announced that he was entering the portal.
Brown saw action in four games this past season, primarily as a special teamer on kickoff and punt coverage.
Just moments after All-Big 12 linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green announced his departure from the Buffs on Monday, Nakos reported Brown will return to Boulder. With the linebacker position a growing question mark in the early stages of CU’s offseason, Brown may have seen his chances to see the field increase.
The veteran linebacker began his college career at Jackson State playing for then-head coach Deion Sanders. Brown will now likely stick out one more year with Coach Prime.
