Chiefs vs. Browns: Xavier Worthy scores rushing touchdown in Week 15

#Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy scored a 22-yard rushing touchdown in Kansas City’s Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland #Browns on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ offense was firing on all cylinders coming out of halftime in the defending Super Bowl champions’ Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

After being held to 14 points in the first half, quarterback Patrick Mahomes was quick to get his teammates involved on the Chiefs’ first possession of the third quarter.

Given a short field after Jameis Winston threw an interception to Nick Bolton, Mahomes put together a perfect four-play, 34-yard drive that ended in a dazzling rushing touchdown by rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

Take a look at Worthy’s blazing speed as he finds the endzone in this video, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Worthy’s touchdown padded Kansas City’s lead, and Harrison Butker converted his extra point attempt to put the Chiefs up by 21 points early in the third quarter.

Expect Mahomes to continue experimenting with ways to get Worthy the ball as the Chiefs close out the second half.
