Between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles, it appears both teams have mature leaders in QB Russell Wilson and QB Jalen Hurts respectively. Hurts was recently involved in some on- and off-the-field drama with teammate WR A.J. Brown that caught the eyes of Eagles and Steelers fans alike.
Veteran Eagles defender Brandon Graham spoke on the situation, stating that Brown needs to be more accountable and that Hurts is trying his best to be a good teammate.
Like only a respected leader would, Hurts downplayed the situation entirely while speaking to reporters on Wednesday. Instead of throwing his WR under the bus, as Brown did to him, Hurts kept it short and sweet about their current relationship: “We’re good. We’re good.” Hurts also referenced Graham’s comments, stating that “BG knows he spoke out of place.”

Is there more than meets the eye with the developing situation between Brown and Hurts? If so, the Pittsburgh Steelers could use the extra distraction on Philadelphia’s sideline, as the Week 15 matchup marks the beginning of a tough 10-day stretch for the Black and Gold.
