Oregon outlasts Penn State to win Big Ten Championship

Oregon improves to 13-0 by downing Penn State for the Big Ten title

Oregon moved into the Big Ten this season and the Ducks rule the conference.

Undefeated Oregon defeated Penn State 45-37 in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday in Indianapolis.

The Ducks are 13-0 and head into the CFP as the No. 1 overall seed.

Penn State will have to wait to see where it is seeded after its second loss in 13 games. The Nittany Lions’ other loss was to Ohio State so that will definitely hurt when it comes to playoff seeding.

Quarterback and Heisman candidate Dillon Gabriel threw or 283 yards and four touchdowns in the win.

Tez Johnson had 11 catches for 181 yards and a touchdown.

As close as the game was, Oregon never trailed. The Ducks opened the scoring and managed to make the Nittany Lions chase them the rest of the way.
