Rams vs. Bills injury report: Jared Verse pops up with ankle issue

Three players were upgraded for the Rams on Thursday but Jared Verse popped up with an ankle injury

The Los Angeles Rams continued their preparation for the Buffalo Bills by holding their second practice of the week on Thursday. After listing seven players on Wednesday’s injury report, they added one more to the list on Thursday.

Jared Verse popped up with an ankle issue that caused him to be limited Thursday, but hopefully it’s only a minor injury heading into Sunday’s game. He and Alaric Jackson were the only two players who were limited Thursday, with everyone else being a full participant – including Tyler Higbee, Matthew Stafford and Demarcus Robinson.

The Bills’ injury report is identical to Wednesday’s, likely because they only held a walkthrough to start the week.

Alaric Jackson injury update

Sean McVay indicated that Jackson is expected to play and his improved status from Wednesday to Thursday is an indication that he should be good to go. He was upgraded from DNP to limited.

Demarcus Robinson injury update

Robinson was limited with a hand injury on Wednesday but he was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and should be ready to go this weekend.

Jared Verse injury update

Verse popped up on the injury report as a limited participant due to an ankle issue. It’s unclear how serious the injury is or if he hurt his ankle in practice on Thursday but we’ll get an update from McVay on Friday.
