BOOM! Ohio State football gets commitment from five-star quarterback

He’s a good one #GoBucks

After a deflating weekend, the Ohio State football team got a bit of good news on the recruiting front. The No. 2 rated quarterback in the class of 2027 has given his verbal pledge to be a Buckeye.

Brady Edmunds hails from Huntington Beach, California, but has been a lifelong Ohio State fan. After narrowing his choices to just four earlier this fall, Edmunds picked the Buckeyes over  Penn State, Michigan, and Texas.

Edmunds made an official visit to Ohio Stadium for the game between OSU and Michigan this past Saturday. Even though the outcome wasn’t what was hoped for, Ohio State impressed the five-star recruit enough to give his commitment shortly after the game.

Edmunds joins five-star receiver, Jamier Brown who committed to OSU during the Indiana game last week. It’s early and we know a lot can change in the next two years, but it seems like this kid is all in and has the opportunity to start inviting other top talent to join him.
