C Chet Holmgren had 29 points in that one, but he remains out Sunday.

Houston went into Philadelphia and beat the 76ers 122-115 Wednesday, covering as 5.5-point favorites. G Jalen Green is budding into a star. He had 41 points and shot 4-for-6 from 3-point range. C Alperen Sengun added 22 points, 14 boards and 7 dimes.

I watched the OKC-Lakers game, and SGA expended a lot of energy and looked spent by the end of that game. The absence of Holmgren will show in this one. The Rockets are healthy, rested and charging.

Against the spread

There’s no reason to take the spread when we’re taking the Rockets straight up. Instead, we’re going with ISAIAH HARTENSTEIN DOUBLE-DOUBLE (-115). He has double-doubles in 4 straight games and is averaging 14.3 PPG and 14 RPG during the stretch. The odds went from -110 to -115 literally as I wrote this.

Over/Under

These teams have the top 2 defensive ratings in the league with OKC on top. The Thunder are 4-6 O/U in their last 10, and the Rockets are 5-5. The first matchup went Over 221.5, but again, Holmgren’s absence is going to be felt. He had a big game in that one.

I like the UNDER 221.5 (-115).
