COLUMBUS, Ohio — It was supposed to be Ohio State‘s time. Media fawned over the best roster money could buy, saying it was perhaps the best team that had ever been assembled. However, a lowly 6-5 Michigan football team came into Columbus as the three-score underdog that everyone said would be more likely to be pummeled than not, and instead, it did the pummeling.
Michigan football beat Ohio State, 13-10, behind the best defensive performance that the Wolverines have had to this point, and just enough offense to keep the Buckeyes at bay.
After the game, head coach Sherrone Moore met with the media to discuss The Game, the postgame brawl, and more.
Watch it below:
Moore is now 2-0 against Ohio State while Ryan Day is now 1-4 against Michigan. Though the Buckeyes are likely still playoff-bound, the loss to the Wolverines likely ousted Ohio State from the Big Ten Championship Game as it will now be Oregon vs. either Indiana or Penn State.
