Texas A&M (8-3, 5-2 SEC) will enter the final week of the regular season with everything on the line postseason-wise, as the Aggies’ quadruple overtime loss to Auburn didn’t end the program’s College Football Playoff dreams.
During A&M’s overtime chaos against the Tigers, Alabama shockingly lost to lowly Oklahoma on the road, shaking up the SEC standings once again and making Saturday night’s Texas A&M vs. Texas rivalry an official bid to the SEC Title Game vs. Georgia.
With the added implications comes even more interest from both fan bases and even those in the area who may not have skin in the game but possess deep pockets and want to be a part of what could be one of the more epic showdowns in the football rivalry’s history.
According to StubHub, ticket prices are now maxing out at $4,211 to the low price (sarcasm) of $603 in the top 20 rows. Will this affect overall turnout? I highly doubt this, as Saturday’s game will be the first time both teams have faced each other since the 2011 season.
No. 19 Texas A&M will host No. 3 Texas on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 pm. CT. The game will air on ABC.
