Michigan State football will be hosting a West Virginia commit they’re looking to flip on Friday night.

Three-star linebacker Daiveon Taylor of Pittsburgh sent out a tweet on Friday morning that suggested he’ll be in attendance for the Spartans’ home game against Purdue. Taylor has been committed to West Virginia since April of this year, and is part of a long list of recruits planning on visiting Michigan State on Friday.

Taylor ranks as the No. 48 linebacker in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 590 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State has yet to extend an offer to Taylor, according to 247Sports. He does, however, hold offers from West Virginia, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and Miami (OH).
