Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program are having serious issues in their 2025 recruiting class.
Four-star defensive back Tae Harris, a Clemson commit for the 2025 recruiting class, is reportedly trending toward flipping his commitment to Georgia Tech. On3’s Chad Simmons was the expert who made the change, seeing the young talened defensive back as a future Yellow Jacket. Harris, a highly-rated defensive back out of Atlanta, is drawn to Georgia Tech’s recent momentum under head coach Brent Key and the opportunity to stay close to home.
Harris initially committed to Clemson in August, valuing the program’s track record with defensive talent. However, Georgia Tech’s persistence, combined with the Tigers’ defensive struggles this season, has seemingly swayed his decision.
Clemson cannot afford to lose another top tier piece in this 2025 class.
