Michigan State hockey downs Ohio State in game one

MSU takes down OSU in game one on Friday night

Michigan State hockey has earned their first Big Ten win of the 2024-25 season. A team looking to defend their Big Ten Championship crown, the Spartans opened up their conference schedule with a home ice win, defeating the Buckeyes of Ohio State 4-2.

Michigan State goal scorers included Nicklas Andrews, Red Savage, Daniel Russell and David Gucciardi. MSU improved to 6-1 on the season with the win.

Michigan State and Ohio State will lock up in game two of the series on Saturday evening inside of Munn Ice Arena.
