The NASCAR Truck Series arrived at Martinsville Speedway to finalize the Championship 4, and it produced more drama than imagined. Christian Eckes dominated the race, winning the first two stages; however, Taylor Gray made a late charge on 60-lap fresher tires. Gray passed Eckes, but he didn’t end up victorious in a must-win situation.

Eckes used a bump-and-run on Gray to clinch a Championship 4 spot. Gray, who needed a victory to make the season finale, was not happy and confronted him after the event.

Gray has every right to be upset, and Eckes has every right to go for the victory. It’ll be interesting to see if Gray retalities in any way at Phoenix Raceway as Eckes battles Corey Heim, Ty Majeski, and Grant Enfinger for the 2024 Truck Series championship.
