Stuart Skinner (1-2-0, 4.42 GAA, .845 SV%) vs. Jake Oettinger (3-0-0, 1.63 GAA, .948 SV%, 1 SO)
Skinner has been beatable in the early going, allowing 3+ goals in each start. He outlasted the Philadelphia Flyers in a 4-3 OT win last time out Tuesday with 27 saves on 30 shots. He stopped 23 of 27 shots fired his way in a loss to Dallas in his only regular-season matchup against it last year.
This will be Oettinger’s 1st start since he signed an 8-year, $66 million extension Thursday. He has been fantastic in his 3 starts, allowing just 5 goals on 97 shots. “Otter” was 1-0-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .932 SV% against Edmonton in the regular season

The Oilers have gotten off to a rough start, and they’re up against Oettinger at home. He is 67-20-15 with a 2.52 GAA lifetime at home. The STARS -125 are at a very good price in this spot.
Puck line/Against the spread
Goalie props weren’t available at press time, but if you can get Oettinger somewhere around Over 26.5 or 27.5, I would bite. As for the puck line, these teams are too close to risk it.
