National media predicts winner of Georgia at Texas

Almost nobody is predicting that the Georgia Bulldogs will defeat the Texas Longhorns

The No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1) and No. 1 Texas Longhorns (6-0, 2-0) in a top five clash between SEC foes. The Georgia at Texas game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” is headed to the Georgia-Texas game. Georgia-Texas will be televised on ABC.

Georgia enters the Texas game as 4.5-point underdogs. The Bulldogs have rarely been underdogs in recent seasons, but they face an immense challenge against Texas, who has already picked up impressive wins over Oklahoma and Michigan.

Most members of the media are rolling with the Longhorns ahead of the Georgia-Texas game.

“(Texas) hasn’t played a team currently in the top 20 of the ESPN SP+ rankings. The Bulldogs are the more desperate team after stumbling at Alabama, but that could work both ways,” said Marc Weiszer of Athens Banner-Herald.
