Report: Jaguars trading DL to Seahawks

The Jaguars are trading defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris to the Seahawks, according to NFL Network.

Seattle will send Jacksonville a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft in exchange for the veteran defender.

The Jaguars signed Robertson-Harris as a free agent in 2021, away from the Chicago Bears, with whom he began his NFL career as an undrafted prospect from the University of Texas-El Paso in 2016.

Robertson-Harris tallied 123 total tackles including 17 for loss, 11.5 sacks and seven pass breakups in 54 games and over three seasons with the Jaguars. He posted seven total tackles with three for loss and two sacks over the first six games of this year.

Robertson-Harris is in the second season of a three-year contract extension that he signed with Jacksonville in 2023, a $21.6 million deal.

This move marks the NFL’s first trade since Aug. 28 when the Atlanta Falcons traded backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. ET.
