Longhorns women’s basketball releases 2024-2025 TV schedule

The Longhorns will have 16 games featured on networks such as ABC, ESPN, Fox, and the Sec Network

With the start of the women’s college basketball season drawing closer, the SEC released its television schedule for the 2024-2025 campaign on Thursday. The Longhorns will have 16 games featured on networks such as ABC, ESPN, FOX, and the SEC Network. As the Longhorns look to build on their success from last season, there will be plenty of chances for fans to see them in action.

The Longhorns’ first televised game will be against Notre Dame on December 5 as part of the SEC-ACC Challenge. That game will be on ESPN. Almost a month later, Texas will begin conference play on ESPN2 when they take on Oklahoma on January 2. On February 16, Texas will make its ABC season debut when it welcomes LSU to the Moody Center.

While those matchups stand out, there are still plenty of games to look forward to. The Longhorns will also have a national audience when they take on South Carolina, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Georgia. Their last televised regular season game will be on the SEC Network when they face Florida on March 2.

After the regular season comes to a close, the Longhorns will turn their attention to tournament play. The SEC tournament will begin on March 5 with first-round games. A day later, the second round will begin, with the quarterfinals set for March 7.

If the Longhorns make it to the championship game, they will have a chance to capture their first SEC title on March 9. Tournament play will be aired on ESPN, ESPN 2, and the SEC Network.
